AMAZING!!
I was always a bit cautious about installing solar panels on my home even though I had heard of all the supposed benefits of going solar but after a consultation with smart green solar, I had all doubts erased from my mind.
What I loved the most is they were genuine people who were honest in their approach and wholeheartedly cared about helping me lower my electric bill. I really enjoyed working with Kevin Tay, who sat down with me and explained the entire process in detail, and anything I wasn’t too sure on, he explained again without any hesitation or surprises. I was always able to contact them with any questions or concerns I had, and I always received a response later in the day, if not immediately.
My electric bill has gone down SUBSTANTIALLY and I’m baffled at why more people don’t switch over to solar immediately because it’s one of the greatest investments that I have made for me and my family, AND! It didn’t cost anything up front so the transition was headache and stress free.
They took care of the delivery, installation and set up which had the system running in less than 2 days. They took care of the installation while I was at work so I had no problem with accommodating the workers who were respectful and professional in my home.
All in all I have no complaints about my switch to solar, and especially can’t get over literally! The hundreds of dollars a month that I’m saving. They’re a great company, with honest people at the forefront who believe in what they’re offering you and your family. I recommend smart green solar to all my friends and anyone else who’s hesitant on making the switch to solar panels.

My wife wanted solar and went with Smart Green. She talked with Anthony Wesley. Everything went pretty smoothly. The weather was an issue but eventually the roof contractors came and put the roof up in one day. Usually Smart Green said they'd like to put the panels up the next day but accommodated my wife by coming the following week on her day off.
They got the panels up in a day and a half. All the workers, the roofers, solar installers, Anthony, and Joe were all polite and professional. We are now waiting for the electric company to inspect the property and turn the panels on. Hope that goes as smooth. Highly recommend Smart Green Solar.

Smart Green Solar has been excellent. Very professional and very clear in their communications throughout the process up to when they were applying for town permits and National Grid permit. While waiting for the permits there were no communications for multiple weeks. I used the supplied support phone number to request updates.
The support on the phone was very good but I had to call each time I wanted an update. I received an email from National Grid stating they had approved my installation for testing so I called the Smart Green Solar support number again and asked if they had received the town permit, since the National Grid permit had issued. The support person checked and indeed the town permit had already issued. I asked if I could get the install scheduled. That same day I got a call from the scheduler and I was able to work with the schedule person to have the install done that same week.
It would have been nice if someone from Smart Green Solar had proactively kept me updated and insured I got the earliest installation date possible. Other than that my experience so far has been great. The installers were very good and did the job in one day including cleanup. After the installation I received an email with information on how to enable my system monitoring account which went smoothly. Now I just need to get the final inspections, a bidirectional meter installed and have the system turned on. I'm hoping these final steps can be completed quickly.

I received a call from the CEO Jay Gotra, who personally came to my home yesterday and helped us now better understand the system. It is nice to see that the CEO of the company took the effort to help his customer. I would recommend Smart Green for your solar needs.

Crew was on time, extremely polite and answered any questions I had. Told me step by step what was going to happen and then followed through on everything. The job actually got done ahead of schedule and after the job was done, a truck showed up to pick up the skid and wrappings that the solar panels were delivered in. A very efficient, pleasant crew. No complaints at all.
